Our story
We design jewellery that casting cannot make
LATTOV exists because there is a whole family of forms that traditional jewellery-making has to say no to. We built a studio around saying yes to them.
The problem with casting
Lost-wax casting is a wonderful technology and it has made almost every piece of jewellery you own. It also has one hard limit: the mould has to survive being filled with molten metal and then broken away. Anything with a hollow interior, a web of thin struts, or a void inside a void simply collapses or traps the mould.
Additive manufacturing has no mould. We sinter nylon powder with a laser, or bind metal powder and fire it in a furnace. Structures that would fail as a casting come out perfectly — Voronoi lattices, gyroid surfaces, fractals with five levels of branching. That is not a gimmick. It means a pendant can have three times the visual volume at a third of the weight, and a ring can be genuinely comfortable at 5 grams.
How we work
Every design starts as a rule rather than a drawing. A Voronoi lattice is a mathematical process: scatter seed points across a form, grow cells until they meet. Change the seed count and you get a different object with the same character. We tune parameters, print, wear the result for a month, then tune again. Several of our designs went through thirty or more iterations before release.
Production runs in Shenzhen, where the printers are, and where we can inspect every single piece by hand. Nothing is outsourced and nothing is mass produced: your order, your size, your finish, printed after you press pay.

Materials and sustainability
Printing to order is the single biggest environmental decision we make. There is no warehouse full of unsold stock, no over-ordering, no end-of-season destruction. When a design stops selling we stop printing it — we do not discount it into a landfill.
- PA12 nylon. Laser-sintered from powder. Unfused powder is sieved and reused in the next build, so material waste stays under 5%.
- Stainless steel and brass. Bound with a polymer binder and sintered to 97% density, then tumbled and hand-polished. Metal powders are reclaimed from the build chamber.
- Packaging. Unbleached recycled-fibre boxes, paper tape, no plastic windows and no foam. The outer mailer is paper and can go straight into recycling.
- Precious metal. Sterling silver is 100% recycled stock from certified refiners. We do not use newly mined silver.
What we are not
We are not a drop-shipping brand. We do not resell another factory's catalogue. We do not run fake countdown timers or invented "was" prices — the discounts on this site are the discounts you actually receive. If a design is out of stock it says so.
